Stephen Kaplan, MS, L.Ac, ADS, LMT is New York State Licensed with board certification from the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) to practice both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.

Education: Mr. Kaplan began his 5 year Post graduate education at The Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy, New York City, 1992-1993, where he developed a strong foundation in muscuo-skeletal pain relief. He then continued for four years to obtain a Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at The Five Branches Institute Of Chinese Medicine, Santa Cruz, Ca, 1993-1997. There he trained in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Qi Gong Meditation & Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan exercise therapy.

Faculty Appointment: In addition to his practice, he is a faculty member at The Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City, a leading institution in the field of Oriental Medicine education, clinical practice and research.

I have been helping people of the New York area with Oriental Medicine since 1997 and take pride in a gentle, sincere, and personable approach to my practice. I am conscientious about what I do and take the time to listen to patients. I do not fit them into a common model of complaints and symptoms. Practicing with a holistic approach means listening and working with patients so that they as individuals will thrive.
