This is an ongoing series of oil paintings inspired by the wonderful barefoot beach communities of Fire Island, the Hamptons, and Long Island's South Shore. Lynda Engstrom's landscape paintings evoke the spirit of Edward Hopper in her dramatic use of light to create mood and capture moments in time.
